This is an advertisement for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for an ANRF-funded research project at the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.

Project and Position Details

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Number of Positions: 01

• Project Title: "SmileScope: Enhancing Early Autism Diagnosis Through Digital Behavioral Phenotyping"

• Principal Investigator: Dr. Pratishtha Verma, Department of Computer Engineering, NIT Kurukshetra

• Project Duration: 3 years

Qualifications and Fellowship

• Essential Qualification: B.Tech. and M.Tech. or an equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. You must have a first-class degree (6.5/10 grade points or 60% marks).

• Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow for computer vision.

  • Experience with Python programming.

  • A valid GATE or NET score.

• Age and Relaxation: As per the norms of the Government of India/DST-ANRF.

• Fellowship:

  • ₹ 37,000 per month for the first and second years.

  • ₹ 42,000 per month for the third year.

  • + HRA (House Rent Allowance).

• Other Benefits: The selected JRF candidate may be eligible to register for a Ph.D. at NIT Kurukshetra, provided they meet the institute's eligibility criteria.
